Banking & Finance
• Analyze a wide range of economies, markets and securities, across the Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA) region;
and communicate the analysis through regular reports to the firm and its clients including the media.
• Provide macroeconomic, foreign exchange rate and interest rate, and commodity, forecasts for the
firm.
• Provide regular fixed income, currency and commodity research for publication to investors.
• Focus on analytical and policy matters of key relevance for the firm and engage investors in discussion
of same.
• Provide technical support in Debt Market Mandates to the corporate finance and advisory team
• Conduct independent policy-relevant research, with a sound theoretical and practical blend as to how
economies of SSA work.
• Participate in conferences, seminars, and workshops to present and disseminate analytical works done
by the desk and the firm, where required.
• Other responsibilities assigned by the Head of Department or the executive team.
